2024 CAMSC Annual Report

Press Release

CAMSC acknowledges that our work takes place on the traditional territories of Indigenous peoples who have cared for these lands since time immemorial. From coast to coast to coast, we acknowledge the ancestral and unceded territory of all of the Inuit, Métis, and First Nations people that call this land home. We express our gratitude and respect for these Indigenous peoples whose presence and contributions enrich our communities. Their rich cultural heritage, sustainable practices, and profound knowledge have significantly shaped Canada’s economic landscape. In the spirit of reconciliation, CAMSC is committed to fostering meaningful partnerships with Indigenous communities. We acknowledge the harms and mistakes of the past, and we recognize the importance of supporting Indigenous-owned businesses and creating opportunities that honor their unique cultures and traditions. Through our efforts, we strive to build a future where Indigenous voices are heard, respected, and integral to the fabric of our society. As we explore the contributions of diverse businesses across the country, we commit to honouring their legacy, fostering meaningful partnerships, and supporting Indigenous-led economic initiatives that promote inclusivity, equity, and shared prosperity for all.
