In addition to the double ministerial appearance by Public Safety Minister Bill Blair and Health Minister Patty Hajdu at PUBLIC SAFETY this afternoon, three more Team Trudeau front benchers are set to hit the House committee circuit today:
Environment Minister Jonathan Wilkinson and Treasury Board President Jean-Yves Duclos appear before their respective home committees — ENVIRONMENT and GOVERNMENT OPERATIONS, respectively — to be quizzed on the contents of the latest main and supplementary estimates. (3:30 /4:30 PM)
Meanwhile, Immigration Minister Marco Mendicino briefs CITIZENSHIP AND IMMIGRATION members on both his government’s ongoing effort to streamline the immigration process for asylum-seeking Hong Kong pro-democracy activists, as well as the latest data from the Labour Market Income Assessment of the Temporary Foreign Workers Program.
