In the wake of the House of Commons unanimously endorsing a New Democrat-initiated call for the government to take “concrete action to advance real reconciliation” — which, it’s worth noting, came just days after the announcement that the remains of up to 215 children had been found on the grounds of a former residential school in Kamloops, B.C.— INDIGENOUS AND NORTHERN AFFAIRS members will get the chance to question Crown-Indigenous Relations Minister Carolyn Bennett, Indigenous Services Minister Marc Miller and Northern Affairs Minister Dan Vandal over the spending proposals submitted by their respective departments as part of the latest supplementary estimates package.

According to the notice, the first hour of the meeting will feature a joint appearance by Bennett and Vandal, with Miller set for a solo go-round during the second hour. (11 AM – 1 PM)
