Canada’s premier Aboriginal Trust and Investment Workshop celebrates its 10th Anniversary – features leading Trust professionals, private, public and Aboriginal community sector leaders, a gala banquet, evening entertainment and more
Niagara Falls, ON (April 15, 2014) – The 10th Annual Aboriginal Trust and Investment Workshop takes place at the Marriott Gateway in Niagara Falls May 6 – 8, 2014.
Rodgers Investment Consulting (RIC) has assembled a stellar line-up of speakers for this year’s 10th Anniversary celebration. Leaders from across all sectors, Aboriginal Government, private, public, and philanthropic, as well as some of the best minds working with Aboriginal trusts from the trust, legal, accounting and investment professions, will converge for 3 days of informative, ‘must-attend’ sessions.
“We started the workshops as a way to share basic investment information with community leaders,” says Kelly Rodgers, President of Rodgers Investment Consulting. “Now, 10 years later, the event has grown to such an extent, in both size and scope, that it’s one-stop shopping for anyone in the field.”
Attendees from across Canada will gather to hear from some of the nation’s most knowledgeable and dynamic speakers, including Grand Council Chief Patrick Madahbee, Chief Dean Sayers, Todd Hoskin, CEO of Ulnooweg Development Corporation and many more.
“I am thrilled to be participating this year,” says Hoskin. “The sheer wealth of information, new, pertinent information, that you find at this event is unparalleled.”
New topics this year include the Impact of Bill C 27 on trust framework development, Impact Investing within the Aboriginal sector and Partnering with the Philanthropic sector and Qualified Donee registration. Visit www.aboriginaltrustandinvestment.com for an up-to-date speaker listing and agenda.
