Clark Wilson announced that former articling students Cohen Hocking, Kezia Messakh, Melanee Bryniawsky and Spencer Oberst have joined the firm as associates.
According to the Vancouver firm’s news release, Hocking joins its Indigenous law and private company mergers and acquisitions (M&A) groups. His practices include business purchase and sale transactions, shareholder agreements, First Nations governance, Aboriginal and treaty rights, environmental and regulatory law and resource development.
Messakh joins the firm’s strata property and general civil litigation groups. Her practice includes bylaws and resolutions, strata governance, bylaw enforcement proceedings, claims involving strata corporations, Civil Resolution Tribunal matters, strata collections, lien enforcement applications, forced sales of strata lots and bare land strata corporations.
