What’s on the agenda for the House and Senate committees today.

A day before American voters head to the polls to choose their next president, INTERNATIONAL TRADE members will get an update on the latest developments in the long-running cross-border dispute over softwood lumber, with representatives of the British Columbia Lumber Trade Council, J.D. Irving Ltd., W&M Enterprises and Institut de recherche en économie contemporaine expected to share their respective perspectives. (11 a.m.)

Over at FISHERIES AND OCEANS, MPs hear from fish harvesters, research scientists and NunatuKavut Community Council president Todd Russell as they continue examining the impact that the reopening of the cod fishery has had in Quebec and Newfoundland and Labrador. (11 a.m.)
