Feb 13, 2024

Restrictions for protests, spitting in public, and biking on parkland grass could be in store for Edmonton if city council approves a new bylaw this week.

The public spaces bylaw, up for review at city hall this week, regulates what behaviours are allowed in public places. The bylaw also adds fines for public drug use, panhandling, and loitering on transit, among other offences.
