Dene Nation Announces Venue Change 54th Dene National Assembly 2024

[JULY 2, 2024, DENENDEH] – The Dene Nation announces that the 54th Dene National Assembly will be held July 23-25, 2024, in Dettah, NT at the Chief Drygeese Center. The election for Dene National Chief will take place on July 24, 2024. Voting will take place both in person and online.

The location of the 54th Dene National Assembly was originally planned to be hosted by the community of Fort Good Hope, but due to the impacts of the recent wildfires in the region, the decision was made by Dene Leadership to relocate the 54th Dene National Assembly to Dettah.
