Restoule J.C.A.R.L Construction, Dominion Construction joint venture on federal infrastructure project
An Indigenous-owned contractor from Dokis First Nation is participating in a $2.25-million federal infrastructure contract to do rehabilitation work on the French River dams complex.
Restoule J.C.A.R.L Construction from Dokis First Nation, in a joint venture with Dominion Construction, was awarded the contract on Feb. 17.
Federal Public Services and Procurement Minister Helena Jaczek announced the news on April 18.
The dam complex consists of a wharf with a timber crib structure, a single story boathouse for boat entry and sheltered mooring, and a single story workshop housing a variety of equipment and building materials.
