Economic reconciliation is the focus of FNEE’s newest program, launched on February 13, 2024, at the Hélène-Desmarais Building of HEC Montréal. The first cohort, which wrapped up this summer, enabled 10 Indigenous / Non-Indigenous pairs to advance their reconciliation projects further. An economic impact committee project
Among the participating pairs is the team of Charles Demers, Coordinator of Business and Strategic Partnerships for the Huron-Wendat Nation, and Camille Laberge, Chief of Strategic Procurement at Hydro-Québec. Together, they developed an Economic Impact Committee project for the Huron-Wendat Nation within Hydro-Québec initiatives, aimed at enhancing the integration of Indigenous businesses.
