KELOWNA, BC, Sept. 26, 2024 – FISSION URANIUM CORP. (TSX: FCU) (OTCQX: FCUUF) (“Fission” or the “Company“) announced today that the hearing for the final order (the “Final Order“) approving the previously announced plan of arrangement (the “Arrangement“) with Paladin Energy Limited (“Paladin“) before the Supreme Court of British Columbia (the “Court“) was completed on September 26, 2024. CGN Mining Company Limited (“CGN“), a subsidiary of China General Nuclear Power Corp., opposed the Final Order and approval of the Arrangement. The Court’s decision in respect of the Final Order is expected in the coming weeks.
The Arrangement remains subject to receipt of the Final Order and clearance under the Investment Canada Act, as well as other customary conditions.
