We invite you to submit nominations for the First Nations Power Authority Pathway to Powerful Opportunities Awards, celebrating leadership, innovation, and advocacy in the clean energy space. These awards highlight outstanding contributions from individuals and organizations driving positive change in Indigenous and broader communities. Help us celebrate the young leaders driving change and shaping a brighter, more sustainable future.
Nomination Guidelines: These award’s celebrate the next generation of change-makers who are leading with purpose, resilience, and innovation. Nominees should demonstrate exceptional achievements and a commitment to making a positive impact within their communities or partner organizations.

Award Categories:
| Youth Leadership Award | The Youth Leadership Award recognizes young leaders ages 14 to 29 who have demonstrated growth in their leadership capabilities and a capacity to overcome challenges in felds related to or adjacent to the energy sector. |
| Community Energy Champion | The Community Energy Champion Award will recognize an individual that has encouraged sustainable energy solutions, innovation, and initiatives that engage and mobilize community members towards cleaner energy goals. This individual demonstrates leadership in promoting environmental sustainability. |
| Innovation in Cleaner Technology | The Innovation in Clean Technology award recognizes individuals who have developed, implemented, or championed technologies to reduce environmental impacts and promote sustainable practices. Applicable examples may include leading or supporting roles in the implementation of both software and hardware, research scientists, activists, data analysts, and others. |
| Indigenous Allyship Award – Individual | The Indigenous Allyship Award is a recognition award that celebrates individuals who have demonstrated a commitment to supporting Indigenous peoples and communities by promoting and practicing allyship, advocacy, and reconciliation in the context of energy. |
| Indigenous Allyship Award – Organization | The Indigenous Allyship Award is a recognition program that celebrates organizations who have demonstrated a commitment to supporting Indigenous peoples and communities by promoting and practicing allyship, advocacy, and reconciliation in the context of energy. |
