Starting February 18, the Government of Nunavut will begin using a new cloud-based system – Oracle Fusion Cloud – to manage its internal financial and human resources (HR) operations.
The launch of Fusion Cloud in all GN departments is a major milestone in the project to replace outdated financial and HR software currently used by the GN.
Fusion Cloud contains a powerful set of digital tools to support day-to-day government operations, like purchasing goods and services, paying invoices, managing employee time and attendance records, and administering payroll. The GN will begin using these tools gradually, starting with core financial and HR functions as of February 18.
Information regarding any impacts related to the implementation of Fusion Cloud will be issued as needed.
