After making the rounds on the pre-summit circuit in Kananaskis, Alta., last night — during which, it’s worth noting, he clocked in one-on-one chats with his UK, Australian, South African and German counterparts, as well as local First Nations leaders — Prime Minister Mark Carney will meet with U.S. President Donald Trump this morning, according to multiple media reports.
Although his office hasn’t yet released his itinerary for today, the “bilateral sit-down,” which currently slated to take place at 9 a.m. MT, “comes as Canada and the U.S. work toward a new agreement on trade and security but have yet to produce a deal,” as Global News points out.
