A group of Canadian lawyers, spearheaded by a Calgary counsel, is calling on the International Criminal Court to investigate the Government of Canada and the Vatican for crimes against humanity over their involvement in the mass grave discovered in Kamloops.
Lawyer Brendan Miller has sent a letter to the chief prosecutor of the ICC, Karim Khan, asking that he commence an investigation into the circumstances behind the deaths of 215 Indigenous children found in a mass, unmarked grave last week.
