Letters to the editor suggest that judges are even scarier than politicians, and urge that the Ford government maintains and fixes the roads it has before rushing to build new ones

Re: It is time to change the conversation and eliminate the stigma attached to diabetes — May 17

Although I sympathize with folks being diagnosed with diabetes I would also like to take the discussion further, and gain recognition for all the people experiencing life with developing handicaps — mostly seniors like myself. I can walk on my own if not too far, but stairs and the danger of falls have become a real problem.

In too many places, such as individual shops or community gathering places, one sees a few steps with no railings and no other way to get up or down. To me, trying to go up even a few steps with no support is just a peril I cannot put myself into.
