Micro Lending Conference – “The Growing Root to Success for Aboriginal Women”

THUNDER BAY, ON: Nishnawbe Aski Development Fund (NADF) will host the “The Growing Root to Success For Aboriginal Women” Micro Lending Conference on February 26 & 27, 2014 in the Carlton Room at the Victoria Inn & Conference Centre. NADF’s Micro Lending Program and PARO Centre for Women’s Enterprise have partnered up to promote microloans to reach out to as many Aboriginal women interested in accessing small business loans.

We are pleased to announce that NADF’s Micro Lending Program has signed up their first Micro Clan Circle from Frenchmen’s Head, Lac Seul First Nation, calling themselves “Biidaaban ‘A New Rising’ Circle”. The name represents a new day/a new beginning. NADF will be presenting a cheque to Biidaaban, our first micro loans recipient at 10:45am on Tuesday, February 26, 2014.
