— Provinces in the vaccine spotlight: The influx of COVID-19 vaccine deliveries expected this week will test provincial rollout strategies. Critics are calling on provinces to lay out more detailed deployment plans. Prime Minister Trudeau promised a dramatic increase in vaccine deliveries, including four million doses from Pfizer and two million from Moderna, by the end of March.
But a new survey by Edelman suggests that eroding trust in scientists, academics, business leaders, and journalists could impede the vaccine rollout. It found that trust in scientists was down six points from last year’s survey.
