Improving community hall spaces and replacing bridges are just some of the projects benefiting from new provincial and federal infrastructure funding.
On Monday, Dominic LeBlanc, Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs, Infrastructure and Communities, and Don McMorris, Saskatchewan’s Minister of Government Relations, announced more than $40 million in joint funding for nine infrastructure projects across Saskatchewan.
Among the projects are renovations to the community hall in Candle Lake and the construction of a cultural centre in Muskoday First Nation.
Money will also be given to the RM of Meota to replace the Iffley Bridge and a new community recreation centre for Martensville.
