Nishnawbe Aski Nation, which represents 49 First Nations across Treaties 9 and 5, has congratulated Prime Minister Mark Carney on his election win. However, it’s also setting out clear expectations for the new federal government to honour treaty rights. Grand Chief Alvin Fiddler speaks to the CBC’s Mary-Jean Cormier about his concerns.
