1. Introduction
Dilico Anishinabek Family Care (Dilico) is seeking proposals from qualified firms or consultants to conduct a comprehensive review and implementation of pay equity in compliance with Ontario’s Pay Equity Act. The successful proponent will provide expertise in evaluating compensation practices, identifying pay equity gaps, and supporting the development and execution of a Pay Equity Plan (PEP) that meets legal requirements.
2. Background
Dilico is a non-profit, Indiginous organization that promotes an integrated Model of Care brings together a wide range of services and programs to support children, youth and families to live their good life – physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. Dilco offers services, rooted in culture, that address diverse issues related to child welfare, mental health & addictions, and primary health.
Dilico requires a firm to analyze current compensation structures, identify discrepancies, and develop strategies for compliance with federal, provincial, and local pay equity laws.
