“Our government is committed to growing the resource development industry that has played a significant role in our economic success for decades. To transition into the next chapter of our storied mining history with our rich critical mineral potential, we need strong partners at the Federal level and continue to make the case for significant infrastructure investment. By doing this, we will be able to capitalize on our true economic potential.”
– Caroline Cochrane, Premier of the Northwest Territories
“An exciting new chapter is emerging for mining in the NWT. While global competition for investors is fierce, we are well positioned to not only become a supplier of critical minerals, but to be a leader in how they are resourced in both an environmental and socially responsible way. I’m looking forward to telling this story.”
– Caroline Wawzonek, Minister of Industry, Tourism and Investment
