Ring of Fire development one of several topics at First Nations forum in North Bay – North Bay Nugget

First Nation communities across Northern Ontario are raising issues about the impact mining like the Ring of Fire will have on their lands.
Several voices expressed concern about their need and want to be part of the process every step of the way. It was one of several topics being discussed during the Lands and Resources Forum held at the Best Western.
For two days, Tuesday through Thursday, community experts and leaders across various sectors involved in resource development and environmental protection gathered in North Bay to share ideas and concerns.
