A local conservation authority is looking for area residents’ thoughts on a new resource management strategy as it plans for the future.
The St. Clair Region Conservation Authority (SCRCA) is seeking public comment on their draft Watershed-based Resource Management Strategy, required under new regulations prescribed under the Conservation Authorities Act. The strategy sets out the guiding principles, objectives, and resources of the SCRCA, its categories of programs and services, and the knowledge base for the work the SCRCA conducts on a day-to-day basis.
The St. Clair Region Conservation Authority covers the Sydenham River watershed and smaller waterways draining directly into southern Lake Huron, the St. Clair River, and northeastern Lake St. Clair.
