SIGA Casinos return to Hosting Pow Wows

October 4, 2023 – Saskatoon, SK – The Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority (SIGA) is happy to announce that it is returning to hosting pow wows.

The first pow wow planned is the Northern Lights Casino Thanksgiving Pow Wow – October 6-8, being held at the Art Hauser Centre in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. There will be several categories of dancers across all ages. Grand entry kicks off on Friday at 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday days have a 1 p.m. start.

“We took a hiatus with our pow wows during COVID, and we are excited to be hosting them again for our community and to be able to bring everybody together and see everyone again in Prince Albert,” said Regional General Manager Richard Ahenakew.

Prize money for this year’s pow wow totals over $80,000.
