After walking the picket line with striking education support workers in Edmonton yesterday, New Democrat leader Jagmeet Singh is set to start his second day in the city with an on-stage appearance at a political action conference hosted by the Canadian Labour Congress, where, according to his office, he’ll explain how a New Democrat government “will stand up for working class Canadians, not the billionaire class” (11:30 a.m. MT) and take questions from local reporters. (12 p.m. MT)
Meanwhile, Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre will make himself available to the media during a mid-morning press conference in Toronto. (10:30 a.m.)
