SolarBank Commences Trading on Nasdaq Global Market®

Toronto, Ontario, April 8, 2024 — SolarBank Corporation (Cboe CA: SUNN; Nasdaq: SUUN; FSE: GY2) (“SolarBank” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce the Company’s common shares will commence trading on the Nasdaq Global Market (“Nasdaq”) at opening of trading today, Monday, April 8, 2024. The Company’s common shares will trade under the symbol “SUUN.” The Company’s common shares will continue to trade on the Cboe Canada Exchange under the symbol “SUNN”.
The Nasdaq Stock Market has three distinctive tiers: The Nasdaq Global Select Market®, The Nasdaq Global Market® and The Nasdaq Capital Market®. Applicants must satisfy certain financial, liquidity and corporate governance requirements to be approved for listing on any of these market tiers. SolarBank has qualified under the Nasdaq Global Market® tier, which has the second highest eligibility requirements.
In conjunction with the listing, the Company has filed a Form 40-F Registration Statement with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (the “SEC”). The SEC has declared the Registration Statement effective.
