Statement: Business Council of Alberta’s response to the Speech from the Throne

BCA welcomes today’s historic speech from the throne delivered by King Charles III, and stands united in the call to build a stronger and more resilient Canada.

Building the strongest economy in the G7; making Canada an energy superpower; building major projects; partnering with Indigenous peoples; and investing in ourselves – these are all ambitions and missions we share, and are ready to work together on.

The coming weeks and months will be crucial for putting our country on the right path.  This is why we are in Ottawa right now, meeting with government leaders to provide solutions and recommendations to realize Canada’s untapped potential, and build both a strong Canada, and a good life for Canadians.
