Employment Insurance, August 2023
There were 448,000 Canadians receiving regular Employment Insurance benefits in August, up 9,100 (+2.1%) from a month earlier.
Industrial product and raw materials price indexes, September 2023
The Industrial Product Price Index rose 0.4% on a monthly basis in September and increased 0.6% year over year. The Raw Materials Price Index increased 3.5% on a monthly basis in September and rose 2.4% year over year.
Urban public transit, August 2023
In August, ridership on Canada’s urban transit networks continued to recover, reaching 118.5 million passenger trips.
Travel arrangement services, 2022
The operating revenue of the travel arrangement and reservation services industry group rose sharply by 182.2% to $9.7 billion in 2022. Despite the strong recovery following the COVID-19 pandemic, the industry group’s operating revenue was 33.7% lower than in 2019.
