Control and sale of alcoholic beverages, year ending March 31, 2018
It was another grape year for wine sales in 2017/2018, while beer sales were relatively flat.
Wholesale trade, February 2019
Wholesale sales increased 0.3% to $63.7 billion in February, the third consecutive monthly gain. Higher sales were recorded in two of seven subsectors, led by the motor vehicle and motor vehicle parts and accessories subsector. Excluding this subsector, wholesale sales declined 1.5%.
Investment in building construction, February 2019
Total investment in building construction increased in February, up 3.8% from January to $15.3 billion.
Canadian Armed Forces members and Veteran Mental Health Follow-up Survey, 2018
Better understanding the mental health of its members is an important objective of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF). In 2018, Statistics Canada, in collaboration with the CAF, Veterans Affairs Canada and the University of Manitoba, conducted a follow-up study of CAF members who were participants in a survey in 2002. This cohort of CAF members was re-contacted to see how they were faring.
