Canadian international merchandise trade, December 2022
In December, Canada’s merchandise exports decreased 1.2%, while imports were down 1.3%. As a result, Canada’s merchandise trade deficit with the world narrowed from $219 million in November to $160 million in December.
Canadian international trade in services, December 2022
Canada’s monthly international trade in services deficit narrowed from $1.4 billion in November to $1.2 billion in December. Overall, exports of services increased 1.1% to $14.2 billion, while imports were down 0.6% to $15.4 billion.
Stocks of principal field crops, December 31, 2022
As of December 31, total stocks of wheat, canola, barley, oats, corn for grain and soybeans were all up compared with the same date in 2021.

Monthly provincial prices received by farmers in December for grains, oilseeds, specialty crops, cattle, hogs, poultry, eggs and dairy products are now available.
