Monthly Survey of Manufacturing, November 2024
Total manufacturing sales increased 0.8% in November, mainly on higher production of aerospace products and parts as well as sales of petroleum and coal products. Sales of motor vehicle parts declined the most.
Wholesale trade, November 2024
Wholesale sales (excluding petroleum, petroleum products, and other hydrocarbons and excluding oilseed and grain) fell 0.2% to $83.7 billion in November.
New motor vehicle sales, November 2024
New motor vehicle sales data for Canada and the provinces are now available for November. The New Motor Vehicle Sales Survey collects data on monthly sales (in dollars and units) of new motor vehicles in Canada by type of vehicle and by country or region of manufacture.
Health Reports, January 2025
Anxiety and depression are on the rise among Canadian teens. Teens who are physically active have more positive mental health. A new article released today in Health Reports, found that teens who do physical activity with their families are more active and report better mental health, lower anxiety and depressive symptoms, higher life satisfaction, and lower life stress.
