Canada’s international investment position, first quarter 2025
Canada’s net foreign asset position—the difference between Canada’s international financial assets and international liabilities—was down by $103.2 billion to $1,824.8 billion at the end of the first quarter of 2025.
Building permits, April 2025
In April, the total value of building permits issued in Canada decreased by $829.6 million (-6.6%) to $11.7 billion.
Employer pension plans (trusteed pension funds), fourth quarter 2024
The market value of assets held by Canadian trusteed pension funds reached nearly $2.5 trillion at the end of the fourth quarter, a year-over-year increase of $221.3 billion (+9.8%).
Canadian Survey on Disability: Accessibility Indicators, 2017 and 2022
There are now three new tables from the Canadian Survey on Disability available: Average and median disability pay ratio in annual wages, salaries and commissions, by selected demographic characteristics; Barriers to accessibility related to behaviours, misconceptions, or assumptions from service providers towards persons with disabilities aged 15 years and over, by severity, by age group and gender; and Level of needs met for communication-related supports for persons with disabilities aged 15 years and over, by age group and gender.
