In recent years, the First Nations of Quebec and Labrador Economic Development Commission (FNQLEDC) has experienced significant growth.
That’s right! Our team has nearly doubled, growing to 24 dedicated employees who work every day to support First Nations communities and members in their economic and entrepreneurial development projects. This expansion has naturally led us to review our internal organization to better meet needs while strengthening our collective impact.
A new structure for greater impact
In the interest of efficiency and cohesion, we have established a steering committee that brings together executive management and the department directors. This new governance model fosters better strategic coordination, encourages interdepartmental collaboration, and promotes a spirit of collaboration at the heart of our mission.
