The Department of Human Services is seeking applicants for its Indigenous Apprenticeship Program.
According to Human Services Minister Senator Marise Payne, the 12-month apprenticeship program will give up to 100 successful applicants a launching pad to a public sector career.
“We are committed to providing a rewarding and supportive work environment for our Indigenous apprentices. This includes one-on-one Indigenous mentors to provide advice and support along with diverse training and development opportunities,” Senator Payne said.
“The Department of Human Services offers flexible and culturally considerate work practices such as flex time, the option of part-time work and NAIDOC leave.
