2017 Target Year for Noront to get “Ring” Mine Producing – Mining Life

The company that is considered the father of the Ring of Fire is moving forward to be the first into production.

Noront Resources Ltd. holds a 100% interest in the Eagle’s Nest Project, the largest, high-grade nickel sulphide discovery in Canada since the Voisey’s Bay find.

The Eagle Nest’s Feasibility Study was released in September 2012 with a view towards commercial production in 2017.

The Blackbird chromite discovery, located less than two kilometres from Eagle’s Nest, is part of the Ring of Fire chromite discoveries, potentially one of the largest chromite resources in the world.

Both discoveries are located in the James Bay Lowlands of Ontario in the metals camp.
