Job purpose
Aboriginal Legal Services (ALS) strengthens the capacity of the Aboriginal community and its citizens to deal with justice issues and provide Aboriginal controlled and culturally based justice alternatives. The Adult Pre-Charge Diversion Worker will be part of the Community Council Team. The role of the Worker will be to liaise with divisions of the Toronto Police Service (TPS) who are part of a pilot Indigenous Pre-Charge Diversion Program. This is a unionized position.
