
ANISHINABEK NATION HEAD OFFICE (October 9, 2025)— The Anishinabek Nation welcomes its member First Nations citizens and representatives, industry leaders, and government officials to the 3rd Annual Anishinabek Nation Economic Development Opportunities Forum. This year’s theme is Empower, Evoke, and Evolve. The Forum will feature panels, workshops, and networking opportunities on key topics, including Bill 5, Protect Ontario by Unleashing our Economy Act, 2025, and Bill C-5, the One Canadian Economy Act, Access to Capital, Franchising, and Mining.
Keynote presentations will be delivered by Anishinabek Nation Grand Council Chief Linda Debassige; Ontario Regional Chief Adam Benedict; and the Canadian Council for Indigenous Business Vice President of Research and Public Policy Matthew Foss.

The Anishinabek Nation is a political advocate for 39 member First Nations across Ontario, representing approximately 70,000 citizens. The Anishinabek Nation is the oldest political organization in Ontario and can trace its roots back to the Confederacy of Three Fires, which existed long before European contact.
