SALEKHARD (Sputnik), Anastasia Levchenko — United Nations member states must ensure the protection of the indigenous peoples of the Arctic given the development of the oil and gas industry that affects them acutely, the chairwoman of the UN Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues said Thursday.
