Arctic Winter Games provides testimony at Alaska hearing on Canada – Cabin Radio

Leaders of the Arctic Winter Games movement spoke of an “enduring partnership” between the United States and Canada as Alaskan politicians debated Canadian sovereignty.
The Alaska House Resources Committee met last week to discuss a resolution that “opposes restrictive trade measures that would harm the unique relationship between Canada and Alaska.”
US President Donald Trump has led a chaotic move toward tariffs in recent weeks, threatening huge tariffs on Canadian goods, implementing some of them and backing off – at least temporarily – on others.
