Cando 2026 Conference issue – Cando

Cando welcomed 350+ delegates focused on Indigenous economic development to attend the 31st Annual Cando National Conference that will be hosted at the Hilton Quebec in Québec City, Québec from October 27 – 20, 2025. This is the first time that the Cando Conference has been hosted in Québec City and will a tremendous opportunity to showcase economic development for communities in northern and
eastern Quebec! The event included a tour of Wendake and a visit to the Musée huron-wendat and the Onhwa’ Lumina Excursion. Many photos are shared with you in this issue of the magazine.

Cando has also just completed delivery of the 8th Annual Economic Development Youth Summit that was held at River Cree Resort on Enoch Cree Nation in Alberta.
