Montréal, February 14, 2017—The Canada Media Fund (CMF) released today its 2017 Trends Report, The Digital Puzzle: Piecing Back Together the Content Value Chain. This report provides an in-depth analysis of the trends affecting the audiovisual industry in Canada and elsewhere.
This latest edition looks at the transformation of the audiovisual industry and examines the value creation opportunities that have emerged from the major industrial reorganization. To do so, the CMF focuses on four fronts: technology and innovation, consumer habits, business models, and markets and competition.
The report looks at the following trends and analyzes the opposing forces and the interests involved:
