Fermi Exploration and Ya’thi Néné Lands and Resources Announce Commitment to Collaborative Engagement in the Athabasca Region

Saskatoon, SK – October 22, 2025 – Fermi Exploration Ltd.  (the “Company” or “Fermi”) and the Ya’thi Néné Land and Resource Office (“YNLR”), owned by the Athabasca Denesułiné First Nations of Hatchet Lake, Black Lake, and Fond du Lac, as well as the Northern Hamlet of Stony Rapids and the Northern Settlements of Uranium City, Wollaston Lake, and Camsell Portage, are pleased to announce their mutual commitment to fostering a sustainable and collaborative relationship in the Athabasca region. This accord underscores both organizations’ dedication to enhancing environmental, social, economic, and cultural well-being, both in the present and for the foreseeable future.

This commitment serves as a foundation for continuous communication between Fermi Exploration and YNLR, aligning with YNLR’s mandate to support the Athabasca Denesułiné First Nations and reflecting Fermi Exploration’s environmental, social, and governance commitments.

The collaborative framework will encompass provisions related to environmental protection and monitoring, recognition of Etthén Néné Stewardship Areas, training and employment opportunities for Athabasca residents, contracting preferences for Athabasca businesses through the EXPORT database, annual contributions to the Athabasca Community Trust, and respectful engagement with traditional land use.

By working together in a respectful way, we are supporting a stronger future for the Athabasca region.”

Fermi Exploration is actively advancing uranium exploration projects in and around Saskatchewan’s Athabasca Basin, including the East Hawkrock, Reitenbach, Durrant Lake, Perch River, and Badger Lake properties.
