First Nations’ project faces questions over province’s $476M promise to build 2,940 discount homes in Vancouver – Business in Vancouver

Three city councillors from the ruling ABC Vancouver party raised questions Tuesday on whether a $476-million promise from the provincial government to fund a program to build 2,940 discounted homes will be fully realized.

The government’s Attainable Housing Initiative (AHI) is intended to provide affordable home ownership opportunities for middle-income home buyers as part of the Indigenous-led Heather Lands redevelopment.
