Four candidates for Manitoba First Nation group’s grand chief announced – CTV

WINNIPEG — Four candidates are vying to be grand chief of a group that represents 30 First Nations in northern Manitoba.
Manitoba Keewatinowi Okimakanak’s electoral officer has announced the candidates who got their nomination documents in by the deadline of Wednesday.
Current Grand Chief David Harper, who is also chief of the Garden Hill First Nation, is running for re-election.
The others are Tyler Duncan of Norway House Cree Nation, William Elvis Thomas of Nisichawayasihk Cree Nation, and Sheila North Wilson of the Bunibonibee Cree Nation.
