Workers on scene working to contain leak
Hydro-Québec is reporting a leak of 10,000 litres of diesel fuel at a site that supplies power to the northern community of Ivujivik.
The spill happened overnight, between Saturday and Sunday.
Hydro-Québec says it’s working to contain the spill and has alerted the provincial Ministry of Sustainable Development, as well as the federal Department of Fisheries and Oceans.
