Qikiqtani Inuit Association (QIA)

The Qikiqtani Inuit Association (QIA) is seeking qualified proponents to provide I.T. services from February 9, 2026 to March 31, 2027. The Successful Proponent will work closely with the Manager of I.T. to strengthen QIA’s systems, security, operations, and long-term I.T. strategy.

Scope of Work Includes:

• Reviewing I.T. security and system protocols
• Enhancing backup, disaster recovery, and risk-mitigation planning
• Assessing and supporting firewalls, detection/response tools, VPNs, and other protection systems
• Asset and hardware inventory management
• Developing quarterly I.T. reports
• Supporting Microsoft Autopilot and A.I. tool assessments
• Creating project plans, budgets, policies, and controls
• Overseeing implementation of equipment and systems, including third-party I.T. projects
• Preparing system documentation and training materials
• Providing analysis, research, and ongoing I.T. advice
• Optional: Additional recommendations that enhance QIA’s I.T. efficiency, security, and innovation

Evaluation Criteria

Proposals will be evaluated on:

• Relevant Experience & Qualifications (45 pts)
• References (10 pts)
• Approach & Methodology (35 pts)
• Cost Competitiveness (10 pts)
  Inuit Firm, Qikiqtani Business, and Related Business applicants receive eligible cost adjustments.

Minimum score to be considered: 60 points

Mandatory Requirements

• Complete Proposal submitted by the deadline
• Proposal in English or Inuktitut (with English version)
• Demonstrated capability, experience, and/or certifications related to required I.T. services
