What’s on the agenda for the House and Senate committees today.

As part of their self-initiated exploration of Indigenous policing and public safety, INDIGENOUS AND NORTHERN AFFAIRS members will hear from Public Safety Minister Gary Anandasangaree, who is booked in for a one-hour appearance ahead of back-to-back testimony from departmental officials as well as RCMP Senior Deputy Commissioner Bryan Larkin. Meanwhile, Yellowknife Mayor Ben Hendriksen, Carleton University associate professor Philippe Lagassé and Defence, Security and Resilience Bank Development Group president Kevin Reed are among the witnesses set to testify on Canada’s “defence industrial strategy” at INDUSTRY AND TECHNOLOGY. (4:30 p.m.)
