Indigenous women entrepreneurs urged to apply for funding – Northern Ontario Business

Deadline to apply to Indigenous Women Entrepreneurship Fund is this Friday

Indigenous women entrepreneurs whose businesses have been negatively impacted by the pandemic may be eligible for a grant to help offset costs.

Eligible women can receive a $2,000 and a one-year membership to the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business (CCAB) through the organization’s Indigenous Women Entrepreneurship Fund.

Funded by LNG Canada and Paper Excellence, the pot of money is aimed at helping Indigenous women-owned businesses that have been disproportionately disadvantaged because of COVID-19.
