Before embarking on the final leg of his week-long European tour, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is booked in for a breakfast meeting with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, with Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland also expected to be in attendance at Bellevue Palace before it’s wheels up for Warsaw later this morning.
Back in Canada, New Democrat Leader Jagmeet Singh holds a mid-morning media availability outside Eagle Ridge Hospital in Port Moody, B.C., where he’ll highlight his party’s call for “strengthen our health care system” before joining local MP Bonita Zarrillo for a closed-door conversation with local health care workers to “hear more about how the federal government can support them.” (1/2 PM)
